課程概述	Course Description: Through the whole semester, students will be reading articles or essays of a variety of fields, including medicine, finance, economy, technology, etc. In the first semester, a thorough investigation of a book written in English will be conducted.
課程目標	Course Objectives: 1. To enhance student’s overall English proficiency. 2. To help students cultivate the habit of reading English texts. 3. To familiarize students with the skills to read efficiently. 4. To expose students to various subject matters. 5. To make sure that students can keep up with the latest trends around the world.
課程要求	Requirements: Participation, quizzes, and reading logs are of utmost importance.
